Really, it's not becoming my favorite thing to name names in headlines. But in light of Mr. Fulgoni's deliberate (if lighthearted) provocations of online 'direct response' lovers, we must fight fire with fire. Or at least, on this statutory holiday, firew orks with fireworks. When I read that comScore founder Gian Fulgoni yesterday told eMarketer that the 'preoccupation with direct response' is 'partly a response to so many young people being involved in Internet advertising,' I nearly fell off my Big Whee...
